Select is an add-on program for House league players to extend their season into the summer. In order to be eligible for a select team you must play on a house league team either with South Bend or with another baseball association. Select is for players that want to play a house league format in spring but want to continue playing into summer at a higher level with travel to tournaments and a chance at Provincials! We strongly encourage all players that wish to make a Rep team next year to join the Select program this year.
Additional NCCP training is required for the head coach of each Select team. This takes the training and player development to the next level. See the Coaches page for training requirements.

We will follow the EOSBA (Eastern Ontario Select Baseball Association) model for Select which has teams organized in May, one event per week while house league is going on in June and switch to full on Select in July.

The number of select teams will depend on demand. Our expectation is that there will be 1 select team from each division, but if there is coach and play interest then there may be more teams.
