Rep is the representative program for the most committed and advanced players . There is only one Rep team per age group which may be split into two teams, Minor and Major. For example, 13U Peewee is for 2006/2007 aged players, but there may be a 12U Minor Peewee team added.
Rep is for players with the desire to play at the competitive level and are willing to make the commitment to develop as a player at that level. Locally we will play in the NCOBA loop which is expected to have 10 teams at Peewee, 10 teams at Mosquito and 6 teams at Rookie. These aged groups have reached the critical mass required to sustainable, highly competitive programs. There are lots of teams to play and the baseball is great!
There are currently 3 three age levels of Rep teams. Click on the link to find more details specific to these teams:
National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) training is required for all Rep coaches. These coaches have made the commitment to the highest level of training to coach at the local, regional and provincial levels. See the Coaches page for details of coach training requirements.

The season is laid out to have a strong developmental start, to ramp up throughout the summer and culminate in August with the playoffs. Teams that win their local NCOBA division also win the rights to play in the Provincials held on the Labour Day long weekend. Baseball Ontario will make the determination at what level teams are classified, A or AA, based on tournament and game results and that will determine which provincials a team will be lined up for. The decision to commit to the provincials must be made in June, but winning your division means you are the best team in the area at your level. NCOBA expects the best teams from the region to attend provincials.
